COVID-19 and social distancing have prompted many small and individual business owners to resort to online trading platforms, and there is no exception for Italian olive oil manufacturer Andrea Gradassi.

Andrea has been in the olive oil business since 1998. Like many of his Italian compatriots, his business used to primarily target domestic consumers.
With the help of Alibaba.com, he was able to tap into Scandinavian and North American markets which now account for 25 percent of his total market share.
